曹小东（1961—）生于江苏连云港，1982年毕业于江南大学工业设计学院。’85新潮时期为江苏艺术群体《红色·旅》成员，1991年策划创办《艺术潮流》杂志，1992年策划创办《文化与艺术论坛》丛书，早期作品为超现实主义风格油画，1993年开始创作“点”抽象绘画，1994年开始在绘画的同时从事观念摄影。现居住北京，在798艺术区参与创立“抽·abstrct office”，延续“点”绘画创作。1985年参加“江苏青年艺术大展”。1986年参加“六人展”常州。1987年参加“红色·旅—第一驿展”南京。1989年入选中国现代艺术大展。1991年策划创办《艺术潮流》杂志。1992年策划创办《文化与艺术论坛》丛书。1993年举办个人展览，台湾高雄。1995年举办“周俊炜洪磊曹小冬三方艺术展”常州。1998年“偏执”北京。1999年“影像志异”上海。2005年“江湖”北京。2006年“抽象798”北京。2006年“无界”北京。^_^Cao Xiaodong（1961—）Born in Lianyungang， Jiangsu. He was a member of“Red， Journey”， an artist group based in Jiangsu during the’85 New Art Movement. Currently resides in Beijing，he founded the“Abstract Office”in Factory 798 and continued to work with plot painting. He attended“Red， Journey-First Stop”exhibition in Nanjing in 1987 and China Contemporary Art Exhibition in 1989. He planned and founded the magazine Art Trend in 1991.
